Requirements

  • 3 AAA cells

Comments

  • For clearest reception and best performance do not sit frequency checker on ground. Also do not aim transmitter antenna directly at frequency checker, as transmitter's weakest signal emits directly from the tip of its antenna.

  • This frequency checker indicates when another R/C transmitter is on a particular channel. It's important to note that the frequency checker is NOT well suited to show very brief, intermittent Rf signals that could cause interference which may be present in the environment near or between R/C channels.

  • When using the external antenna, extra channels might appear to be in use if the checker is physically located very near a Tx which is emitting a signal. Moving the checker several feet away from the Tx should clear the problem. If used inside buildings which have a lot of steel/metal in the structure, extra channels might inadvertently be shown and NOT using the external antenna may deliver the best results in this situation.

  • The instruction sheet incorrectly states that "Range is up to 300 meters w/o external antenna" and "Range is up to 1000 meters with external antenna". INSTEAD of "meters" it should say "feet" in both places.

update I blew a 5000kv engine on take off and then a 60 amp esc both on 3 sell set ups it is working on a 40 amp 3300kv right now but of course a bit wimpy. In short this is not for high kv set ups it is much more efficient with lower kvs not for speed more for thrust
