This is the Great Planes ElectriFly Four Output DC Powered Battery Charger for Lithium Polymer Batteries only. The instructions for the ElectriFly PolyCharge4 charger state the built-in fan turns ON when a load is present on any of the four outputs. This is incorrect. The fan turns ON any time input power is applied to the charger. We regret this error. **Do not use this charger with NiCd, NiMH or Lithium Ion batteries,** **They are not compatible.** **Damage from misuse or modification of this charger voids the warranty.**

Requirements

• A 12V-15V DC Power Supply such as the Rivergate 15A DC Bulldog (RHCP2015) or an automotive battery able to provide at least 14A continuous

• Charge leads w/banana plugs and battery connector to match battery

• Can use the following Charge leads:

• Other charge leads would need to be fabricated using HCAP0310 Banana Plugs and a battery connector to match the battery.

Comments

• The maximum voltage LiPo cells can receive during Charge is roughly 4.20V. It is not uncommon that after Charging LiPo battery packs containing multiple cells for the voltage to be slightly less than 4.20V per cell. This is normal. Cells which repeatedly measure under 4.10V after being Charged may require further evaluation. Cells which repeatedly measure under 4.00V after being Charged may require replacement.
